Hey everyone mark your calendars! If you have a cute pet (and we know you do) come by the store the May 14th and 15th because the professionals from Shutterbug Photography will be in the store to take your pet’s picture and there will be a complementary 5” x 7” picture for you to keep! There will be a sign up sheet in the store and it’s first come first serve so don’t fiddle faddle! The hours will be 12 -6 Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there!

Hey everyone, I know we’ve been talking about if for a while but over the holiday weekend we redid the cat window into a beautiful cattery!! Now the kitties will have a chance to play and stretch and climb and hind! Please come by and check it out and maybe take home a new best friend!

With temperatures rising we don’t know which is worse, this summer or this past winter?? We are all in it together so if you have any ideas on how to keep animals cool let us know we’d love to post them!! Here are some starters…

1. Freeze treats with water in a container. The dogs will go crazy licking it and batting it around, it’s can be a consuming treat that will help keep Fido cool!! Probably best to do it outside.
2. Tons of water! We can’t stress that enough. Keep pets in well ventilated areas with plenty of shade!
3. Exercise and play time should probably be kept at earlier or later times, when it’s a bit cooler.
